January has come and gone. We painted the boys' room and got it all set up (it's still not organized) but it's theirs. I sanded, primed, and painted our master bedroom. Pictures coming soon, I painted it tender night and innocence. It's a smoky purple and a bluish white. We LOVE our new stove though we have had a couple incidents of the stove pipe falling off while there was a fire going.

Living room set up boxes gone, I love no LOVE my craft /office area, huge spacious lots of light, while the living room area is cozy (I NEED new furniture-but that is not happening).

Janaury didn't bring a new bathroom, or new hotwater heater as desired BUT it did bring an orderly clean bathroom complete with new shelves. The hotwater heater Dana rigged it so we could have hot water... not on demand but 30 minute delay. close enough I can shower and wash dishes now and wash my hands etc.

February's projects will bring a painted living room, my new friend Susan Issacson showed me a very cool painting technique that we are going to try. I am thinking I am going to start tackling the kitchen, with wallpaper removal and starting to paint etc. We are getting a hotwater heater this week! that will be great. I'm ready for the snow to go away and I'm ready for spring! which brings me to another whole list of stuff! March let's look outside in March!

January has Dana working a million hours because of a huge visit from Mr. Takata (he works at Takata) he is coming from Japan. the money is nice but my honey do list is just getting longer or I am learning how to run power tools so I can do it myself! I am mastering a jigsaw, and a drill!

December 31-Happy New Year ! We stayed home and worked on the house. Well I went to the laundromat and did the necessary evils and came home to a surprise visitor! Clay James a very very old OLD OLD Friend, was up from Logan, Utah so he stopped by on his way through the area. It was great to talk to him for a few minutes. Then back to painting the boys' room, painting the new woodstove (very old but new to us!), and installing it. It is MUCH more efficient than Jeff's. We curled up as a family on our bed and watched movies and set off our fireworks. Sound asleep LONG before midnight!!! YAHOO!!

Dec 28

Laid tile for the new woodstove and painted primer in the boys' room. Looking much better. The broken pipe from Christmas eve was a free fix. Pastor Oliver next door heard running water from our house. The cold water pipe in the laundry room was all cracked and was flooding the basement. He let himself in and turned off the water for us as we were in Wenatchee house sitting. Thanks!!!
